“அணிநிழல் காடுகளும், எழில்மிகு சூழல் சுற்றுலா தலங்களும் நிறைந்தது தமிழ்நாடு. வனங்களுக்குப் பாதகமின்றி சுற்றுச்சுழல் சுற்றுலாவை (Eco-Tourism) ஊக்குவிப்பது அரசின் கொள்கையாகும். இதன் அடிப்படையில், சேத்துமடை (கோயம்புத்தூர் மாவட்டம்) மணவணுூர் மற்றும் தடியன் குடிசை (திண்டுக்கல் மாவட்டம்), ஏலகிரி (திருப்பத்தூர் மாவட்டம்) ஆகிய பகுதிகள் சூழல் சுற்றுலாத் தலங்களாக தனியார் பங்களிப்புடன் மேம்படுத்தப்படும். தங்கும் இடங்கள், வனங்களைப் பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வு மையங்கள் போன்ற பல வசதிகள் இத்தலங்களில் ஏற்படுத்தப்படும். இத்திட்டத்தின் மூலம் வரும் வருவாய் அப்பகுதியின் வளர்ச்சிக்காகச் செலவிடப்படும்.”
