“This Government will introduce a ‘Folk Artists Livelihood Protection Scheme’, under which 200 best-performing art troupes registered with the Folk Artists Welfare Board will be selected each year, providing them opportunities to perform for 100 days. A sum of Rs.23 crore is being allocated for this scheme.”
“இந்த அரசு “நாட்டுப்புறக் கலைஞர்கள் வாழ்வாதாரப் பாதுகாப்புத் திட்டத்தை: அறிமுகப்படுத்தும். இத்திட்டத்தின் கீழ், ஒவ்வோர் ஆண்டும், நாட்டுப்புறக் கலைஞர்கள் நல வாரியத்தில் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ள, சிறந்த முறையில் செயல்படும் 200 கலைக் குழுக்கள் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டு, 100 நாட்களுக்கு பண்பாட்டு நிகழ்ச்சிகளை நடத்துவதற்கான வாய்ப்புகள் வழங்கப்படும். இத்திட்டத்திற்காக 23 கோடி ரூபாய் ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்படுகிறது. இந்தத் திருத்த வரவு-செலவுத் திட்ட மதிப்பீடுகளில் சுற்றுலா -கலை மற்றும் பண்பாட்டுத் துறைக்கு 775 கோடி ரூபாய் ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்படுகிறது. தமிழ் வளர்ச்சி”
