“தமிழ்நாட்டில் நதிச் சுற்றுலாவை ஊளக்குவிக்கும் வகையில், மாநிலத்தின் மூன்று முக்கிய நதிகளில் நதிச் சுற்றுலாவை மேம்படுத்துவதற்காக 53 கோடி ரூபாய் நிதி ஒதுக்கீடு டுசய்யப்படுகிறது. இது, காவிரி நதியில் ஒகேனக்கல் முதல் திருவரங்கம் வரையிலும், வைகை நதியில் மதுரையிலும் மற்றும் தாமிரபரணி நதியில் பாபநாசம் முதல் திருநெல்வேலி வரையிலும் அமைக்கப்படும். மேலும், தமிழ்நாட்டின் பல்வேறு பகுதிகளில் காணப்படும் உணவு மற்றும் கலைப் பண்பாட்டை பிரபலப்படுத்தும் நோக்கில், மாநிலத்தின் உணவுச் சுற்றுலா வழித்தடங்களை வெளிக்கொணரும் திட்டத்தை உணவு மற்றும் கலைத் திருவிழாவாக இந்த அரசு 20 கோடி ரூபாய் ஒதுக்கீட்டில் டுசயல்படுத்தும்.”
