“மக்களுக்குக் குடிநீர் வசதிகளை மேம்படுத்துவதற்காக, உயிர் நீர் ஜல் ஜீவன்) இயக்கத்தின் கீழ், 103 கூட்டுக் குடிநீர்த் திட்டங்களுக்கு, 15,734 கோடி ரூபாய் மதிப்பீட்டில் அரசு ஒப்புதல் அளித்துள்ளது. அவற்றில் 54 சதவித செலவினத்தை மாநில அரசு ஏற்கும். மேலும், ஒகேனக்கல் கூட்டுக் குடிநீர் திட்டத்தின் இரண்டாம் கட்டப் பணிகள் 71445 கோடி ரூபாய் செலவில் செயல்படுத்த பன்ணாட்டு நிறுவனங்களில் நிதியுதவிக்காக முன்மொழியப்படும். வரும் நிதியாண்டில் உயிர் நீர் இயக்கத்தைச் செயல்படுத்த 6,600 கோடி ரூபாய் ஒதுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.”
