“பொதுமக்கள், குறிப்பாக மாணவர்களிடையே தமிழ் தொல்லியல் மரபு குறித்து ஆர்வத்தை ஏற்படுத்திடவும், நமது மாநிலத்தில் கிடைத்துள்ள அரும்பொருட்களைப் பேணிப் பாதுகாக்கவும், அருங்காட்சியகங்களும், அகழ்வைப்பகங்களும் (on-site museums) மேம்படுத்தப்பட வேண்டும். இவ்வாண்டு, விழுப்புரம், இராமநாதபுரம் மாவட்டங்களில் 10 கோடி ரூபாய் மதிப்பீட்டில் புதிய அரசு அருங்காட்சியகங்கள் அமைக்கப்படும். தென்காசி மாவட்டம் குற்றாலத்தில் உள்ள பழங்குடியினர் அகழ்வைப்பகம், திருவள்ளூர் மாவட்டம் பூண்டியில் உள்ள தொல்பழங்கால அகழ்வைப்பகம், தர்மபுரியில் உள்ள நடுகற்கள் அகழ்வைப்பகம் ஆகியவை 10 கோடி ரூபாய் மதிப்பீட்டில் மேம்படுத்தப்படும்.”
