“2020-21 ஆம் ஆண்டில், 1,690.67 கோடி ரூபாய் செலவில் 3 மாநகராட்சிகள், 6 நகராட்சிகள், 11 பேரூராட்சிகள் மற்றும் 1311 ஊரக வாழ்விடங்களில் 40.85 இலட்சம் மக்கள் பயன்பெறும் வகையில், நாளொன்றிற்கு 271 மில்லியன் லிட்டர் குடிநீர் வழங்கும், 21 குடிநீர் வழங்கல் திட்டங்கள் முடிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. 5 மாநகராட்சிகள், 22 நகராட்சிகள், 57 பேரூராட்சிகள் மற்றும் 12,346 ஊரக வாழ்விடங்களில் மொத்தம் 12,013.79 கோடி ரூபாய் செலவில், நாளொன்றிற்கு 1223.35 மில்லியன் லிட்டர் குடிநீர் வழங்கிடும் வகையில் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்ட 56 குடிநீர் வழங்கல் திட்டங்களின் செயல்பாடு, பல்வேறு நிலைகளில் உள்ளது. இத்திட்டங்களின் மூலம் 185.58 இலட்சம் மக்கள் பயனடைவர். திருப்பத்தூர், நாகப்பட்டினம், கள்ளக்குறிச்சி, ஈரோடு மற்றும் நாமக்கல் மாவட்டங்களில் 2020-21 ஆம் ஆண்டில், 5 பாதாள சாக்கடை திட்டப் பணிகள் 285.87 கோடி ரூபாய் செலவில் முடிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. 2,391.39 கோடி ரூபாய் மதிப்பீட்டில் 3 மாநகராட்சிகள், 9 நகராட்சிகள் மற்றும் 7 பேரூராட்சிகளில், 19 பாதாள சாக்கடை கட்டும் திட்டப் பணிகள் தற்போது செயல்பாட்டில் உள்ளன. வீட்டுவசதி மற்றும் நகர்ப்புற மேம்பாடு”
