“To foster early appreciation of classical literature, Government is instituting an incentive award of Rs.5,000 each for 500 primary school students (up to Class 5) who memorize and recite 300 Thirukkural couplets.”
“தமிழின் பாரம்பறியத்தைப் பாதுகாப்பதிலும் இளைஞர்களின் திறமைகளை ஊளக்குவிப்பதிலும் நமது அரசு உறுதியான அர்ப்பணிப்புடன் செயல்பட்டு வருகிறது. செம்மொழியான தமிழ்மொழியின் இலக்கியத்தின் மீது இளம் வயதிலேயே பற்றுணர்வை வளர்க்கும் நோக்கில், 300 திருக்குறள்களை மனனம் செய்து ஒப்புவிக்கும் 500 தொடக்கப்பள்ளி மாணவர்களுக்கு தலா 5,000 ரூபாய் ஊக்கத்தொகையினை அரசு வழங்கும். மேலும், தமிழ் அறிஞர்களுக்கான நிதி உதவியை அரசு உயர்த்தி வருவதுடன், தமிழ்மொழித் தியாகிகளின் ஒப்பற்ற பங்களிப்பினை நினைவுகூறும் வகையில், கல்லூரி மாணவர்களுக்கான மாநில அளவிலான கட்டுரை மற்றும் பேச்சுப் போட்டிகளை அரசு OHM is) நடத்தும்.”
