“தமிழ்நாடு உயிர்ப்பன்மை பாதுகாப்பு மற்றும் பசுமையாக்குதல் திட்டத்தின் (Tamil Nadu_ Biodiversity Conservation and Greening Project) இரண்டாம் கட்டப் பணிகள் 2020-21 ஆம் நிதியாண்டில் 920.56 கோடி ரூபாய் செலவில் தொடங்கப்படும். சமூகப் பங்களிப்புடன் சீர்குலைந்த காடுகளை மீட்டெடுப்பதற்கான ஒரு விரிவான திட்டத்தை 2,029.13 கோடி ரூபாய் செலவில் செயல்படுத்த நபார்டு நிதியுதவிக்காக, நிலைக்கத்தக்க வேளாண்மை, நீர்வள ஆதாரப் பாதுகாப்பு, கடலோர மண்டல மேலாண்மை, வனம் மற்றும் உயிர்ப் பன்முகத்தன்மை, நிலைக்கத்தக்க வாழ்விடங்கள், எரிசக்தி செயல்திறன், புதுப்பிக்கத்தக்க எரிசக்தி, சூரியவழி எரிசக்தி, அறிவுசார் மேலாண்மை என்ற ஏழு துறைகளை உள்ளடக்கிய பருவநிலை மாற்றம் குறித்த மாநில செயல் திட்டம் 2.0 தயாரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. காலநிலை மாற்றத் தழுவல் மற்றும் தணிப்புக் கொள்கையை செயல்படுத்துவதற்காக நிதி ஆதாரங்களைத் திரட்டுவதற்கான அடிப்படைத் தளமாக இந்த செயல்திட்டம் அமையும்.”
