“2006 ஆம் ஆண்டிலிருந்து இதுவரை ரூபாய் 523 கோடி செலவில் ஆலயத் திருப்பணிகளும், கட்டுமானப் பணிகளும் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டுள்ளன. 4,724 திருக்கோயில்களுக்குத் திருப்பணிகள் செய்யப்பட்டு, குடமுழுக்குவிழா நடத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. திருவாரூர் அருள்மிகு தியாகராஜ சுவாமி திருக்கோயிலின் பழைமையான ஆழித் தேரினைச் சீரமைக்க ரூபாய் 2.6 கோடி அளிக்கப்பட்டு, பணிகள் நடைபெற்று வருகின்றன. ஆதிதிராவிடர் வாழும் குடியிருப்புப் பகுதிகளில் உள்ள 6,000 திருக்கோயில்களின் திருப்பணிகளுக்கு, ரூபாய் 15 கோடி நிதியுதவி வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அர்ச்சகர் மற்றும் பூசாரிகளுக்கு ரூபாய் 277 இலட்சம் மதிப்பீட்டில், 10 ஆயிரம் மிதிவண்டிகள் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. 2011-2012 ஆம் ஆண்டில் ரூபாய் 100 கோடி மதிப்பீட்டில் ஆயிரம் திருக்கோயில்களின் திருப்பணிகளை முடித்து குடமுழுக்கு விழாக்கள் நடத்தப்பட உள்ளன. கலை மற்றும் பண்பாடு”
