“the 'World Tamil Olympiad' competition will be held every year with a computer-based examination format enabling participation of school students not only from Tamil Nadu but also from other Indian cities and Tamil centres around the world. To honour students with awards who excel at the global level, and those who secure top positions at the national and state levels, an amount of Rs.1 crore has been allotted.”
“தமிழ்ச் செம்மொழியின் பெருமையினையும் தமிழ்ப் பண்பாட்டின் சிறப்பினையும் உலகத் தமிழ் இளைஞர்களிடையே பரவிடச் செய்திடும் நோக்கத்தில், தமிழ்நாடு மட்டுமன்றி இதர இந்திய நகரங்களில் உள்ள பள்ளிகள் மற்றும் உலகத் தமிழ் மையங்களில் பயின்றிடும் மாணவர்களும் பங்கேற்கும் வகையில், கணினிவழித் தேர்வு முறையில் உலகத்தமிழ் ஒலிம்பியாட்: போட்டி இனி ஆண்டுதோறும் நடத்தப்படும் உலக அளவிலான வெற்றியாளர்கள் மட்டுமன்றி, தேசிய மற்றும் மாநில அளவில் சிறப்பிடம் பெற்றிடும் மாணவர்களுக்குமான மொத்தப் பரிசுத் தொகையாக ஒரு கோடி ரூபாய் வழங்கிச் சிறப்பிக்கப்படும். இந்த வரவு-சலவுத் கிட்ட மதிப்பீடுகளில் தொழில், முதலீட்டு ஊக்குவிப்பு மற்றும் வர்த்தகத் துறைக்கு 3,915 கோடி ரூபாய் ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. குறு, சிறு மற்றும் நடுத்தரத் தொழில் நிறுவனங்கள்”
