“தமிழ்நாட்டிலுள்ள அரசு பொறியியல் கல்லூரிகளில், வளர்ந்து வரும் தொழில்நுட்ப முன்னேற்றங்கள் மற்றும் டதொழில்துறைகளின் தேவைகளை நிறைவு செய்யும் விதமாக செயற்கை நுண்ணறிவு (Artificial Intelligence, இணையப் பாதுகாப்பு (Cyber Security), மேம்பட்ட உற்பத்தி தொழில்நுட்பம் (Advanced Manufacturing Technology), எந்திரவியல் (Robotics), மின் வாகனத் தொழில்நுட்பம் (Electric Vehicle Technology) மற்றும் சுற்றுச்சூழல் பொறியியல் (Environmental Engineering) உள்ளிட்ட வளர்ந்து வரும் துறைகளில் புதிய பட்டப்படிப்புகள் வரும் கல்வியாண்டு முதல் அறிமுகம் செய்யப்படும். இவ்வகை நவின தொழில்நுட்பப் படிப்புகளை மாணவர்களுக்கு முறையாக அறிமுகம் செய்திட 50 கோடி ரூபாய் மதிப்பீட்டில் அரசு பொறியியல் கல்லூரிகளில் திறன்மிகு மையங்கள் (Centres of Excellence) முன்னணி தொழில் நிறுவனங்களுடன் இணைந்து உருவாக்கப்படும்.”
