“In this financial year, ` 22.50 crores has been provided for renovating 89 heritage temples.”
“கோயில்களின் புனிதத் தன்மை, தொன்மை, வரலாற்று முக்கியத்துவம் முதலியவற்றைப் பேணிக் காப்பதில் இந்த அரசு தீவிர முயற்சிகளை மேற்கொண்டு வருகிறது. இந்த உன்னதமான நோக்கத்தை மனதிற்கொண்டு ஆகம விதிகளின்படி கடந்த பன்னிரெண்டு ஆண்டுகளுக்கு மேல் குடமுழுக்கு நடைபெறாமல் உள்ள கோயில்களில் 1,006 கோயில்களுக்கு புனரமைப்புப் பணிகள் முடிக்கப்பெற்று குடமுழுக்கு செய்யப்படும். இந்த நிதியாண்டில் 89 கோயில்களை புனரமைப்பதற்காக 22.50 கோடி ரூபாய் ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. மாண்புமிகு முதலமைச்சர் அவர்களால் அவரது முந்தைய ஆட்சிக் காலத்தில் திருக்கோயில்களில் தொடங்கப்பட்ட அன்னதானத் திட்டம் முழு உத்வேகத்துடன் செயல்படுத்தப்படும். இத்திட்டம் மேலும் 106 கோயில்களுக்கு விரிவுபடுத்தப்படும். நாள்தோறும் ஒரு கால பூஜையாவது மேற்கொள்வதற்காக வட்டி வருமானம் கிடைக்கும் வகையில் 11931 கோயில்களுக்கு 25,000 ரூபாய் வீதம் நிரந்தர வைப்பீடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த வைப்பீடு ஒரு இலட்சம் ரூபாயாக உயர்த்தப்படும். கோயில் அர்ச்சகர்கள், ஓதுவார்கள், இசைவாணர்கள், கிராம பூசாரிகள் ஆகியோர்களுக்கான மாத ஓய்வூதியம் 750 ரூபாயிலிருந்து 1,000 ரூபாயாக உயர்த்தப்படும். தமிழ் வளர்ச்சி”
