“North Chennai Thermal Power Station Stage-II, Unit-I (600 MW) will be commissioned in May 2013. The third unit (500 MW) of NTPC-TANGEDCO Joint Venture at Vallur will be commissioned in October, 2013. Two units of 500 MW each of NLC-TANGEDCO joint venture at Tuticorin are expected to be commissioned in December, 2013 and March, 2014 respectively.
