“Funds will be dovetailed from rural development schemes, the Minimum Needs Programme (MNP), the National Rural Drinking Water Programme (NRDWP) etc., to provide these facilities and Rs.50 crores has been allocated under NABARD assistance to fill the gap.”
“பள்ளிகளைத் தரம் உயர்த்தியதாலும் அதிகரித்துள்ள மாணவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கையாலும் 2,733 பள்ளிகளுக்குக் கூடுதல் கழிப்பறை வசதிகளும், குடிநீர் வசதிகளும் ஏற்படுத்த வேண்டியுள்ளது. இந்த வசதிகளை ஏற்படுத்துவதற்காக ஊரக வளர்ச்சித் திட்டங்கள், அடிப்படைத் தேவைகள் திட்டம், தேசிய ஊரகக் குடிநீர் திட்டம் ஆகியவற்றின் மூலமாகக் கிடைக்கும் நிதியுடன், கூடுதலாகத் தேவைப்படும் நிதிக்காக, நபார்டு நிதியுதவி திட்டத்தின் கீழ் 50 கோடி ரூபாய் ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. 2013-2014 ஆம் ஆண்டின் இறுதிக்குள் அனைத்துப் பள்ளிகளிலும் 100 சதவீத பாதுகாக்கப்பட்ட குடிநீர் வசதியுடன் கழிப்பறை வசதிகளும் கிடைப்பதை இது உறுதி செய்யும்.
