“To address this, the Government is integrating all infrastructure schemes of the Department into a comprehensive scheme, the 'Tamil Nadu Village Empowerment, Transformation, Rejuvenation Initiative' (TN-VETRI), which will include separate sub-missions for Water Supply, Solid Waste Management, Sanitation and Rural Connectivity.”
