“விவசாயப் பொருட்களுக்கான விலையில் ஏற்படும் ஏற்றத்தாழ்வுகளின் பாதிப்பிலிருந்து விவசாயிகளை இந்த அரசு தொடர்ந்து பாதுகாக்கும் முயற்சியாக நெல் கொள்முதலுக்கு மத்திய அரசு நிர்ணயித்துள்ள குறைந்தபட்ச ஆதரவு விலையைவிடக் கூடுதலான தொகையை உற்பத்திக்கான ஊக்கத் தொகையாக வழங்க 2017-2018 ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கான வரவு-செலவுத் திட்ட மதிப்பீடுகளில் 200 கோடி ரூபாய் ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. அதேபோன்று, விவசாயிகளுக்கு நியாயமான மற்றும் ஆதாய விலையின்படி, கரும்புக்கான நிலுவைத் தொகையை வழங்குவதற்காக இந்த ஆண்டு கூட்டுறவு சர்க்கரை ஆலைகளுக்கு வழிவகை முன்பணமாக 137.26 கோடி ரூபாயை இந்த அரசு இந்த ஆண்டில் வழங்கியுள்ளது.”
