“முதலாவது தமிழ்நாடு வீட்டுவசதித் துறை வலுவூட்டல் திட்டம், 200 மில்லியன் அமெரிக்க டாலர் வளர்ச்சிக் கொள்கை வடிவமைப்புக் கடனுடன் செயல்படுத்தப்பட்டு வருகிறது. 2020-21 ஆம் ஆண்டில், வீட்டுவசதித் துறைக்கு நிதியுதவியாக உலக வங்கியிடமிருந்து 1492.40 கோடி ரூபாய் பெற்றுள்ளோம். மேலும், தமிழ்நாடு வீட்டுவசதி மற்றும் வாழ்விட மேம்பாட்டுத் திட்டம் செயல்பட்டு வருகிறது. அரசு-தனியார் பங்களிப்பின் அடிப்படையில், வாங்கத்தக்க வீட்டுவசதித் திட்டங்களில் தனியார் துறையின் பங்களிப்பை ஊக்குவிப்பதற்காக இரண்டாம் அடுக்கு (116௨-1) உறைவிட நிதிக்கு 50 கோடி ரூபாய் விடுவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.”
