“With the aim of transforming Tamil Nadu's Public Libraries into state-wide digital libraries that function as learning and innovation hubs — featuring digital knowledge, universal membership, 24x7 internet and mobile access, digital content, free Wi-Fi, and co-working spaces at the 38 district central libraries — this Government allocates Rs.10 crore towards the redesign of Public Libraries.”
“தமிழ்நாட்டில் உள்ள பொது நூலகங்களை, மாநில அளவிலான மஜிட்டல் நூகைங்களாக மறுவடிவமைப்பதன் மூலம், டிஜிட்டல் அறிவு, ஒற்றை உறுப்பினர் சேர்க்கை, 24x7 இணையம் மற்றும் கைபேசி வாயிலாக அணுகும் வசதி, டிஜிட்டல் உள்ளடக்கம், இலவச வைஃபை வசதி மற்றும் 38 மாவட்ட மைய நூலகங்களில் இணை-பணியிட வசதிகள் கொண்ட கற்றல் மற்றும் புத்தாக்க மையங்களாகச் செயல்படுத்தப்படும். இந்த நோக்கத்திற்காக, பொது நூலகங்களை மறுவடிவமைப்பதற்கு இந்த அரசு 10 கோடி ரூபாய் நிதி ஒதுக்கீடு செய்கிறது.”
