“நகர்ப்புரங்களில் குடிசைப் பகுதிகள் இல்லாத நிலையை உருவாக்கும் நோக்கில் செயல்படுத்தப்படும் ராஜீவ் வீட்டுவசதித் திட்டத்தின் கீழ், 205.15 கோடி ரூபாய் செலவில் 2,980 குடியிருப்புகளை தமிழ்நாடு குடிசை மாற்று வாரியம் அமைத்து வருகிறது. நகர்ப்புர ஏழை மக்களுக்கு அடிப்படைச் சேவைகளை வழங்கும் திட்டத்தின் ஒரு பகுதியாக 1,46102 கோடி ரூபாய் செலவில் 21208 குடியிருப்புகளை கட்டுவதற்கான பணிகளும் நடைபெற்று வருகின்றன. இந்த பணிகள் 2015 ஆம் ஆண்டு மார்ச் மாதத்திற்குள் முடிக்கப்படும்.”
