“அரசுப் பள்ளி மாணவர்களை சாதனையாளர்களாக மாற்றும் உயர்ந்த நோக்கத்தோடு அமைக்கப்பட்ட உண்டு, உறைவிட மாதிறிப் பள்ளிகள் சிறப்பாகச் செயல்பட்டு வருகின்றன. அவற்றில் படிக்கும் ஒவ்டவொரு மாணவரும் நாட்டின் முதன்மையான உயர்கல்வி நிறுவனங்களில் சேர்க்கை பெறமுடியும் என்ற நிலை உருவாகியுள்ளது. கடந்த மூன்று ஆண்டுகளில் 38 மாதிரிப் பள்ளிகள் 352 கோடி ரூபாய் செலவில் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. இவை தவிர, பல்வேறு மாவட்டங்களில் உள்ள 28 பள்ளிகள் தகைசால் பள்ளிகளாக 100 கோடி ரூபாய் செலவில் தரம் உயர்த்தப்பட்டுள்ளன.”
