“A new Tamil Nadu State Child Policy is under formulation and will be launched shortly. A total amount of Rs.175.35 crore is provided in the Budget Estimates for 2020-21 for the Directorate of Social Defence.”
“கடினமான சுற்றுச்சூழலில் பரிதவிக்கும் குழந்தைகளின் உரிமைகளைப் பாதுகாப்பது, அரசின் அடிப்படைக் கடமையாகும். ஆதரவற்றோர் இல்லங்களில் உள்ள குழந்தைகளுக்கு சிறந்த வசதிகளை ஏற்படுத்தி, அவர்களுக்கு சிறந்த வாழ்க்கையை ஏற்படுத்தித் தர இந்த அரசு முயற்சி செய்யும். தற்போது புதிதாக வகுக்கப்பட்டு வரும், தமிழ்நாடு மாநில குழந்தை நலன் கொள்கை விரைவில் வெளியிடப்படும். 2020-21 ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கான வரவு-செலவுத் திட்ட மதிப்பீடுகளில், சமூகப் பாதுகாப்பு இயக்ககத்திற்கு 175.35 கோடி ரூபாய் நிதி ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.”
