“தீயணைப்புத் துறையினை வலுப்படுத்தவும், நவினமயமாக்கவும் 15வது நிதிக்குழுவின் நிதி உதவியோடு, 373 கோடி ரூபாய் மதிப்பீட்டில் பணிகள் மேற்கொள்ளப்படும். நவின தீயணைப்பு வாகனங்கள் மற்றும் சிறப்பு மீட்புக் கருவிகள் வாங்கிட 137 கோடி ரூபாயை இந்த அரசு ஒதுக்கீடு செய்துள்ளது. சிறைச்சாகைகளை நவினமயமாக்கும் திட்டத்தின் கீழ், 104 கோடி ரூபாய் மதிப்பீட்டில் திருச்சிராப்பள்ளி மாவட்டம், திருவெறும்பூர் பகுதியில் ஒரு புதிய உயர்பாதுகாப்பு கொண்ட நவின சிறைச்சாலை கட்டப்படும். மேலும், தடய அறிவியல் துறையை முழுமையாக நவினமயமாக்கும் நோக்கோடு, ஒரு புதிய திட்டம் நிறைவேற்றப்படும். இந்த ஆண்டு, 26 கோடி ரூபாய் மதிப்பீட்டில் தடய அறிவியல் துறைக்குத் தேவையான புதிய கருவிகள், கணினி ஆகியவை வழங்கப்படும். வணிகவரிகள்”
