“old places of worship such as Wesley Church and St. Thomas Mount Church in Chennai, Caldwell Church in Tirunelveli, St. Xavier Church in Nagercoil, Nawab Wallajah Mosque in Chennai, Ervadi Dargah and Nagore Dargah will be renovated at a cost of Rs. 12 crore in the coming financial year.”
“தமிழ்நாட்டில் உள்ள சிறுபான்மையினர் வழிபாட்டுத் தலங்களான தேவாலயங்கள், பள்ளிவாசல்கள், தர்காக்களைப் பழுதுபார்ப்பதற்காகவும், புனரமைப்பதற்காகவும் அரசு நிதியுதவி வழங்கி வருகிறது. இந்த ஆண்டு சென்னையில் உள்ள வெஸ்லி தேவாலயம், புனித தோமையர் மலை தேவாலயம், திருநெல்வேலியில் உள்ள கால்டுவெல் தேவாலயம், நாகர்கோவிலில் உள்ள தூய சேவியர் தேவாலயம், சென்னையில் உள்ள நவாப் வாலாஜா பள்ளிவாசல், ஏர்வாடி தர்கா, நாகூர் தர்கா ஆகிய தொன்மையான வழிபாட்டுத் தலங்கள் புணரமைக்கப்படும். இப்பணிகளுக்கு, வரும் நிதியாண்டில் 12 கோடி ரூபாய் வழங்கப்படுகிறது.”
